English language courses for junior schoolchildren (grades 1-4) are available by 2 level program:
- The first level (85 academic hours)
- The second level (85 academic hours)
Frequency of classes: 2 classes a week for 60 minutes.
Number of students in a group: from 3 to 6 people
Duration of a course: 8 months
When to take classes: in the morning, in the evening
Document that is given after the courses completion: certificate
Placement testing for free to identify the language level
There is an opportunity to continue learning English after the course completion
The level and group is selected for children individually, that is, in accordance with their level of knowledge and age.
The main objectives of the course for junior schoolchildren are the development of elementary speech skills, primarily listening and speaking; strengthening the children’s interest in the language for future.
When work with junior schoolchildren teachers use active forms of interaction: exercises by the method of physical response, songs, dramatizations, role-playing games. The work is based on a communicative method, that is, learning in communication. The program contains materials for additional reading, reflecting regional studies, as well as a large number of songs, poems, musical rhymes and multimedia resources to make classes more interesting.
After the course completion, junior schoolchildren are able to:
— read confidently;
— pronounce sounds of the English language correctly;
— use vocabulary on the following topics: counting, food, in the school, in the shop, in the park, in the zoo, in the city, sport, my body and others;
— use basic grammar constructions, including at least 3 basic tenses;
— maintain all forms of speaking activities in English – monologues, dialogues that are corresponds to the program.
