TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) is one of the main international examinations in English. TOEFL consists of four sections: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
The total duration of the exam is 4.5 hours.
Reading – you will be asked to read several academic texts and answer questions for them.
Writing – you have to write two essays: one is a discussion of the provided text, the second is your own reasoning on a given topic.
Listening – you will need to listen to several lectures and dialogues and answer questions for them.
Speaking – here you have to speak on two given topics and discuss four short texts.
The general TOEFL preparation course focuses on the development of 4 key skills – reading, listening, writing and speaking and is designed for 72 hours. The training is carried out by teachers who have experience in preparing students for such exams.
Form of study: group (3-6 people) or individually
Lesson duration: 60-90 minutes
Frequency of classes: 2-3 times a week
Course duration: 3-4 months (subject to language proficiency not lower than B2 level)
Lesson time: morning, afternoon, evening

At our language school “Diplomat” we prepare people for exams with different levels of language proficiency. If your language proficiency does not yet allow you to prepare directly for the TOEFL exam, then we will offer a General English course to raise the level to B2-C1, which will allow you to confidently pass the exam. The course includes^
– studying the basic strategy of the TOEFL exam;
– the practice of passing certain sections of the exam with a comprehensive check of language skills;
– consideration of the main grammatical topics;
– improvement of listening skills;
– mastering speaking skills;
– writing an essay with teacher ‘s feedback.
