These language courses are for you if you need more communicative tasks from the very beginning.
The language school “Diplomat” provides an opportunity to start studying English language from nothing. In this case, we are ready to teach you basics of Phonetics and Grammar of the English language during the specially developed introductory course. After the introductory course we will be ready to study the communicative course of the English language.
Traditionally, the elementary levels for beginners are А1 and А2 according to the CEFR grading scale:
A1
This level is the level when you can overcome the language barrier, feel the language, study new aspects of it.
After finishing English language courses for beginners, you:
— can read well and will know the right pronunciation;
— will know the basic grammar and can use it;
— will study the vocabulary connected with family and everyday topics;
— can answer simple questions, tell about yourself, ask any types of questions, find a way out of a difficult situation.
А2
At this level you begin to understand that studying of foreign languages is not so difficult and you want to know more new words and you want to communicate using foreign languages. At this level you begin to use coherent speech and also, here the listening skills begin to develop. A2 level allows you to make jokes in foreign languages and feel more confident while making new friends when you are abroad.
After completion the A2 level:
— you can read right even unknown words;
— you can keep longer dialogues;
— you will be able to tell different stories, their logic and sequence of actions thanks to the monologues;
— you will be able to use foreign languages for everyday use and understand foreign speech of your interlocutors.
Mode of study for adults: in groups or individually
Number of students in a group: from 3 to 6 people
Frequency of classes: from 2 to 4 times a week
Duration of a class: 60-90 minutes (for individual studies) or 90 minutes (for studying in groups)
Duration of a course: from 5 to 8 months
When to take classes: in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening
Placement testing for free to identify the level of English language.
Document that is given after the courses completion: certificate
Even at the levels for beginners, almost from the very beginning, lessons are conducted in the target language, and the process is organized according to the rules of the communicative teaching methodology – the method of teaching the spoken language.
